About
Our story
At the end of 2023, business owner Richard McEnery, who grew up in Spain and previously owned a gym there, approached Imhoff Farm with an idea to transform vacant land into a place where the local community could come together through sport, health and fun.
Having grown up with padel in Spain, Richard opened Volea Sport City in 2024, starting with padel courts and a vision to create more than just a sports facility. Named after the Spanish word "volea", meaning "volley", Volea has since grown sport by sport into the family-friendly, community-driven hub it is today.
The partnership with Imhoff Farm was a natural fit, sharing a passion for bringing people together and creating a healthy, active lifestyle for the local community.
Who runs what
Volea runs the padel and pickleball courts, the putt-putt course and the Pro Shop. Everything else on the site, the tennis courts included, is an independent business with its own hours and prices.
